Mary Lucille Weatherly

Mary Lucille Weatherly, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was 96 years old. Mary was born on June 9, 1927 in Terral, Oklahoma to Ira and Artie Henderson. She married C.L. “Jack” Weatherly on August 3, 1946 in Henrietta, Texas. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends. 

A funeral ceremony for Mary will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Resthaven Memorial Park. Viewing for Mary will be held on the day of the funeral beginning at 9:00 am. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Artie Henderson, son, Craig Steven Weatherly, husband, C.L. “Jack” Weatherly, sisters, Gladys Gamble, Ida Mae Peterson, and Ruby Marshall, and brothers, Ira Henderson and Jim Henderson. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Randy) Weatherly and Billy Claud Weatherly and wife Kathy, grandchildren, Adam Weatherly and wife Bethany, Jacob Weatherly, Brannon Weatherly, and Keysha Hill and husband Michael, great-grandchildren, Caleb and Samuel Weatherly, sister-in-law, Ella Henderson, and nieces, Freda Jackson, Billie Segler, Wanda Cobbs Dempsie and Candy Odom.
