Michael Eddus Culp

Shawnee resident Michael Eddus Culp, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023, Newalla Church of Christ. Michael was born February 12, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Theressa Culp. He began working as a teenager at various grocery stores in OKC. After graduating from Capitol Hill High School, he began a career in the grocery field where he became a manager before retiring. Michael enjoyed fishing, working on lawn mowers, and O.U. football. He was preceded in death by his father: Bill, and a granddaughter: Avery Schuringa. Survivors include 4 daughters: Katina Smith of Shawnee, Amber Seay and husband Kerry of Harrah, Tiffany Brown and husband Jimmy of Blanchard, and Krista Russell and husband Michael of Moore, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren (and 4 on the way), mother: Theressa Ledbetter and husband Jimmy of Meeker, brother: Mark Culp and wife Sondra of Choctaw, Cynthia Culp of Choctaw, and special friends Jim and Donna Fetherolf.
