Shawnee resident Michael Dewayne Hopkins, 62, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence.Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Mark Guinn officiating. Michael Dewayne Hopkins was born August 9, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Robert “Tony” Hopkins and Jewel Lorene (Dodd) Hopkins. He attended Shawnee schools. Mike loved animals and enjoyed listening to music.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Robert Arnold Hopkins, step-father: Joshua Newton Hale, and grandparents: Oscar and Reba Dodd and Mr. & Mrs. Bob Hopkins.He is survived by a Brother: Timothy Hale of Shawnee,And numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other family members and friends.
