Mildred Yvonne Welliver

Shawnee resident, Mildred Yvonne Welliver, 82, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at her home due to breast cancer. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Pace officiating. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5-6 pm to visit with friends and family. She was born April 3, 1935 in Seminole, OK to Joe Sikes & Jewel Morland.  She graduated from Varnum High School in 1953 and retired from Tinker as an electronics technician.  She was married to Amos Welliver for 57 years, and was a life member of DAV Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Jewel Morland, Father Joe Sikes, and a brother, Gary Morland. She is survived by her Husband: Amos Welliver; 3 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Adam & Rebecca Welliver, Tracy & Kitty Welliver, and Jason & Paula Welliver; 2 Sisters: Doris Gale Morland and Shirley Johnson; 3 Brothers: Michael Morland and wife Gayle, David Morland, and Rusty Morland; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. The family would like to thank Aspire Hospice, especially Kendra and Carol, for all their loving care.
