Monty Eli Tasier

Tasier, Monty Eli, age 67 of Oklahoma City, passed away Friday, March 7th, 2025 in Oklahoma City.

Monty was born May 27, 1957 In Oklahoma City to Leonard and Lahoma (Masquat) Walker. He was later adopted by Ellis Tasier He was raised in Shawnee, graduating from high school there. Later, Monty worked in downtown Oklahoma City in construction for years and later served as a parking lot attendant. He enjoyed spending his time listening to music and spending time with people he shared love.

Monty was preceded in death by his birth and adoptive parents, sisters: Vicky Lynn Walker, Kelly Walker, Leah Jean Walker, and Janice Walker as well as his brothers: Gregory "Tweety" Walker and Robert Wolf.

Survivors include his daughter Nancy Barrack, one son, sisters Anna Walker, Monica Bruno, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Sac and Fox Community Building in Stroud Oklahoma. Following the ceremony, Monty will be laid to rest at Sac and Fox Tribal Cemetery.
