Marie Green

Olivia Marie (Reynolds) Green passed from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Marie was born December 15, 1942 in McAlester, OK to Clifford and Gertrude (Williams) Reynolds. She graduated in 1960 from McAlester High School in McAlester, OK.

Marie married Robert (Bob) Green on December 30, 1960. Her proudest moments were raising a family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to make people laugh.

Marie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and an OU football fan.

She loved entertaining and cooking. Marie always made sure those around her had a meal to eat.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Gertrude Reynolds; husband Robert Green; sisters-in-law Juanita Hamilton, Cora Mimcy McElhaney, Mary Ada Lusk, Bonnie Hackler, and Judy Justice.

She is survived by her daughters Renee King and husband Ron, and Deanna Green; grandchildren Sarah King and Hope King; great grandchildren Krockett King and Kade King; sister-in-law Freda Akins; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, at Liberty Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
