Patricia Ann Boatman

Patricia Ann Boatman, resident of Shawnee, OK passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Oklahoma City. She was 72 years old. A family visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Service on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5-7 pm. A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Following the ceremony, Pat will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. Casket bearers will be: Kevin Boatman, Ricky Boatman, Mason Boatman, Kaleb Boatman, Tommy Gillmore, and Jamie Gillmore. Pat was born on March 1, 1949 in Shawnee, OK to her parents, Bill and Geneva Loveland. She grew up in the area and attended Shawnee Public Schools. She met the love of her life, Jerry Boatman, while in high school and the two were married in March of 1968. Pat worked for Shawnee Public Schools for many years before retirement. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home, sons, Ricky Boatman and wife, Ludonna of Shawnee and Kevin Boatman and wife, Gina, brother, Buddy Loveland of Shawnee, grandsons, Mason and Kaleb Boatman of Shawnee, granddaughter, Brittany Doughty and husband, Jody of Sulphur, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Janice Stanley and Joycie Wilson. Pat loved her family deeply, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
