Patricia "Patti" Lee Alexander

Shawnee resident, Patti Alexander, 57, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at her residence. A memorial service and pot-luck dinner will be at the Dale High School Auditorium (bring a side dish) at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, where friends and family can share memories.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Patti was born September 7, 1959 in Freemont, CA to Glen and Betty Ann Kennedy.  She attended Varnum High School. She later attended Seminole Jr. College and later East Central University.  Patti worked as an elementary teacher at Maud, Varnum, and Meeker. She retired and became a substitute teacher at various area school. She married Jerry Alexander on March 26, 2010.  She enjoyed bowling, dancing, sewing, riding motorcycles, and her dogs. Preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her Husband: Jerry Alexander of the home, 3 Children: David Wilcox of Seminole, Jeremy Wilcox and wife Ashlee of Seminole, and Jennifer Wilcox of Seminole, 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandson, 1 Brother: Ricky Kennedy, 2 Sisters: Debbie Batt and husband Roger, and  Sherrie Chambliss and husband Kevin, as well as several nieces, nephew, other family and friends.
