Pauline D. Gelino, 95 of Shawnee, Oklahoma died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at her home – Avonlea Cottage.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at New Beginnings Church with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. Pauline was born July 22, 1923 in Ponca City, OK to Howard & Naomi Thomas. She was a graduate of Ponca City High School, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, OK. On June 2, 1946 she married V. Ray Gelino. Pauline worked at Virginia’s Home Furnishings and was a member of New Beginnings Church. She was involved in Mabell Bassett Prison Ministries, and enjoyed ceramics classes and playing the piano. She was dedicated to her husband of 57 years, and spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Jim Gelino, granddaughter, Michele Allen, and a sister, Patsy Jo HoffpauirPauline is survived by her daughter, Teri Thompson of Shawnee; grandson Cody Gelino of Texas; great-granddaughter, Stephanie and husband Matthew Williams of Midwest City, OK, and Kaylee Allen of North Carolina; great-great-granddaughter, Riley Michele Williams; nephews, Joe David Hoffpauir and wife Carla of Beaumont, TX, Ken Bryant and wife Judy Hoffpauir and kids of Texas, Rusty and wife Joyce Gelino of Shawnee, Marty and wife Tina Gelino, Ricky and wife Melissa Gelino, Randy and wife Dorthy Gelino, as well as many other family members and close friends.Pauline will be greatly missed. She was loved by many.
