Phillip "Bud" Forrest Beamer

June 29, 1925 — December 13, 2018

Phillip Forrest “Bud” Beamer was born June 29, 1925 in Dale, Oklahoma, to Phillip Forrest Beamer and Mina (Burks) Beamer. He passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home. Bud graduated from Dale High School in 1943, then served in U.S. Navy for 2 ½ years in the southwest Pacific. He began working for Phillips Petroleum Company in Borger, Texas in 1946 and continued with that company until 1971, at which time he switched to OKC Corp (formerly Phillips Pipeline Company) until 1981. In 1981 he became a pipeline inspector for the State of Oklahoma and continued until his retirement in 1991. In 1966 Bud married Wanda Jo Wallace, who preceded him in death in 2008. He was also preceded in death by seven sisters, Hollie Jo Cantrell, Edna Beamer, Elsie Juttner, Willana Graham, Lola Williams, Ella Lee Denison, and May Woodall, by his two brothers, Ray Beamer and Royce Beamer, and one daughter Rhonda Case. Bud was a member of the Victory Chapel Church of God, and enjoyed bowling, training horses and trapshooting. He was also an avid OU football fan. Bud wanted to express a heartfelt “thank you” to his church for their love and support in recent years. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2018 at Victory Chapel Church with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
