Phyllis Janette Hallum Former Shawnee resident Phyllis Janette Hallum, 81, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in Ada, OK Family burial on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Phyllis was born January 15, 1939 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Kenneth Fraser and Naomi (Tracy) Fraser. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1957. She received her business degree in 1959. She married Kenneth Hallum and they were married for 20 years before his death. Phyllis worked at Tinker Air Force Base and retired after 34 years. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Her enjoyments included reading and painting. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson: Ryan Prewett, a granddaughter: Bethany Prewett, an uncle: J.W. Tracy (in Vietnam), an aunt: Norma Edwards, and a grandmother: Pearl Tracy. Survivors: 2 Sons: Donavan Prewett and wife Allison of Ranco Santa Margarita, CA, Kenneth R. Hallum and wife Surana of Ada, OK Grandchildren: Aaron Prewett of Merced, CA, Amanda Prewett of San Diego, CA, David Hicks of Ada, Tyler Hicks of Ada, Sarah Burnett and husband Tyler of Allen, OK, Great-grandson: Morris Burnett of Allen, OK, A special grandchild: Maranda Maltos of Shawnee, 2 Sisters: Patty Magee, Vicki Green, 1 Brother: Henry Stewart, And numerous other family members and friends.
