Randy Dale Markwell

Randy Dale Markwell, 71, departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at home in Meeker, OK. Randy was born on March 1, 1952, in Shawnee, OK to Vernon and Gail Markwell. He attended Meeker Schools and was a 1973 graduate of Oklahoma State University. He married Lynda Holley of Norman in 1977. While a freelance artist living in Norman, OK, Randy founded his advertising business, Appleseed Designs, in 1980. He was a member of the Aydelotte Church of Christ in Shawnee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Holley Markwell, and his parents, Vernon and Gail Markwell.

Survivors include two sisters, Debbie Flowers and husband Randy of Meeker and Lisa Armitage and husband Mark of Meeker, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
