Randy F. Wiens

Randy F. Wiens, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was 64 years old. 

Randy was born on July 26, 1959 in Shawnee, OK to James Carl Wiens and Diana Marie Wiens-Pate. He was the oldest of four sons and is survived by his brother, Tony Wiens. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1977. Randy worked at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic on the B-1 Bomber. 

He married Sylvia Tanner in 1979 and they had one daughter, Shannon Paige of Edmond, OK and two sons, Randall Shane Wiens and Kyle James Wiens of Bethel Acres. Randy and Sylvia have six grandchildren, Mason and Harley Jo Wiens of Newalla, Kaiden, Konner, Kendall, and Cooper Wiens of Bethel Acres. Surviving family also includes cousins, Terry Turner of Missouri and Debbie Turner of North Carolina.  

Randy was disabled in 2004. He was always a positive person. He loved boating with his family and also enjoyed riding his recently purchased Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Randy became a Christian when he was 12 years old and was a member of Blackburn Chapel of Bethel. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Wiens and brothers, Danny Wiens and Ricky Wiens.

A memorial ceremony for Randy will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Acres Assembly.
