Shawnee resident Richard H. Dolin, 75, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Oklahoma City.A wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 1, at St Benedict Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Mandagiri officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.Richard was born July 3, 1943 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Joseph E. Dolin and Evelyn (Zahasky) Dolin. He attended St. Benedict Catholic School, graduated from St. Gregory High School, and later graduated from St. Gregory Jr. College. He served in the United States Navy aboard the attack carrier USS Kitty Hawk CVA-63 in the South China Sea and from 64 to 65 he served at Naval Communication Station, Adak, Alaska. He married Rebecca (Philpott) in 1970. Richard owned and operated Dolin Electric INC. for many years in Shawnee. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus.
