Roma Nyrene Barnes was born August 13, 1924 in Oklahoma City to John Thomas & Edith Hope (Helm) Cheatwood, and passed from this life Friday, July 21, 2017 at her home.On November 27, 1943 she married Norman Barnes in Waco, TX.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters: Ruth Stumbaugh and Delia Yount, and 2 brothers: Albert and Pat Cheatwood.Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-Law: Linda & Jim Foshee; Son & Daughter-in-Law: Mark & Patty Barnes; 6 Grandchildren: Traci Pippin-Sims, David Foshee, Mark Barnes, Tim Barnes, Robin Shelbourne, and Sarah (Barnes) Akers; 16 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
