Rose was born January 23, 1925 in Maud, Oklahoma to Marion & Bessie (Slape) Hatmaker. She was married to Roland Jordan. She was a dance instructor and loved to dance, loved to garden and loved to fix things. She was a member of FLEAS (Friendly Lake Eufaula Area Supporters). Everything had Rose’s “flare” – a touch of special, as if you could see her appreciation of anything, and it’s meaning being part of life. A lady in every way, she was respectful, cheerful, loving, positive, proud, classy, proper, thankful and gracious. You always knew, without any doubt, what an adorable and feisty lady she was. She was a delight to be around, her fascinating stories, her sweet voice and adorable manners. Rose always made you feel welcome and at home. She loved her family and would share with great price how “she” started all of it. There were 5 generations and every family – all kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids – adored Grandma Rose! Rose found the good in everything and everyone, as everyone found and saw the good in Grandma Rose.
