Roy Russell Hayes, Jr.

Roy Russell Hayes, Jr., 43, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at his home.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.

Roy was born March 26, 1980 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Roy Russell Hayes, Sr. and Susan (Emmons) Hayes.  He graduated from Wellston High School where he played basketball and baseball. He continued playing baseball at Mid America.  He married Staci (Kiker) and they were together since 2011.   Roy was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan, Chicago Bears fan, loved his dogs Whiskey and Brittany (deceased), but his pride was his family! His daughter Bristin, step-sons sons Jackson and Spencer, his father, whom he spent much time with learning the concrete trade, his mother, his siblings, and his wife whom he loved unconditionally.  

He was preceded in death by a brother: Dustin Cullison and a sister Sheila Hayes.

Survivors include his wife Staci Hayes of the home, daughter Bristin Hayes, step-sons Jackson and Spencer Clubb, parents Roy and Susan Hayes, brother Cody Cullison and sister Cindy Hayes, and numerous other family members and friends.
