Sandy Sue Collins

Charlita “Sandy” Collins, age 84, passed away on June 19, 2023. Sandy enjoyed her grandchildren more than life and was the biggest giver and encourager to all. Perhaps some of her fondest memories were with her Florida friends while living in Gulf Breeze and Navarre, FL. Sandy was extremely proud of her Osage heritage. Her final days were spent in the Fountain Brook assisted living center where she adopted Reggie, Deone and Juliet as her own children. Their care and love for her is something Sandy’s family will always be forever grateful for. 

Sandy is survived by her sister, Frankie Parsons; her four children, Cindi (John) Collins, Mark Layman, Steven (Jamie) Layman and Kathleen (Tim) Holloway; her six grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher, Nicholas, Easton, Pryce and Channing; and her five great-grandchildren, Brixton, Hunter, Lucas, Castle and Brooklyn. She is also survived by her daughters-in-love, Kim (Bert) Frichot and Heather (Jeff) Flaggert.

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, June 26, 2023 at her church, Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene at 10 a.m.
