Sara Marie (Nordstrom) Frye, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on September 13, 2024, leaving behind a radiant legacy of love and laughter. Born on April 26, 1995, Sara brought an undeniable energy into the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was embodiment kindness and friendliness, never meeting a stranger and always ready to lend a helping hand.
At the core of Sara’s life were her children. She treasured her role as a mother and delighted in the joy of playing with them, filling their lives with warmth and creativity. Her proudest accomplishments included earning her CNA and later her LPN, milestones reflective of her strong dedication to helping others. She worked diligently in various manufacturing positions throughout her career, but it was her compassionate spirit that truly defined her professional path.
Sara's journey through education began at King’s Gate Elementary, where her foundations were laid before she graduated from Bethel Acres High School. Her determination led her to Gordon Cooper, where she achieved her CNA and LPN certifications, stepping boldly into a world where she could make a difference.
Sara was a woman of many interests and talents. She took great pleasure in expressing herself creatively and was always up for a good laugh. Friends and family describe her as a fun-loving person who could light up any room with her presence. The memories made with her will forever be cherished, as she had an unparalleled ability to bring joy to those around her.
Family meant everything to Sara. She leaves behind her son, Royce Nordstrom, daughter, Trinity Frye, step-son Jaxon Frye, step-daughter Skyla Frye, loving mother, Shannon Farasyn and husband Kevin, her father, Vern Nordstrom and wife Lori, and her cherished grandmother, Linda Moore. She is also survived by her aunt, Kelly Barnes and her husband Rudy.
Sara is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Warwick B. Moore and Gordon Nordstrom, her grandmother, Scharlene Nielsen, and her uncle, David Nordstrom.
A memorial service celebrating Sara’s extraordinary life will be held on September 25, 2024, at Walker Funeral Chapel. Friends and family are invited to gather at 1:00 PM to share stories, bring laughter, and remember the beautiful impact Sara had on all who knew her.
