Sibble Faye Warden

Sibble Faye (Mills) Warden, age 92, of Shawnee passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Shawnee. Sibble was born on August 29, 1928 in Penny, Arkansas to her parents, George W. Mills and Charlotte Ann Mills. She married Alfred Warden in Shawnee on March 21, 1949. The two celebrated 59 years together before his passing. After 27 years of service, Sibble retired from her job at AT&T. After retirement, she and Alfred spent many summers traveling to various lakes where they camped with friends and family. She enjoyed listening to music at Liberty Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. Sibble loved to visit with friends and family and also enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crafting. She cherished the time she had with her family and loved being "Nanny" to her grandchildren.

Sibble was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Warden, parents, George and Charlotte Mills, three brothers, four sisters, three brothers-in-law, and four sisters-in-law.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Nicely and husband Jimmie and Kathy Romberg and husband Donnie, grandchildren, Shawn and PJ Romberg, Jamie and Patrick Loving, Derek and Amy Romberg, and Jake and Beckah Nicely, great-grandchildren, Claire and Noah Romberg, Cooper, Cameron and Bennett Romberg, Brooklyn and Bailey Loving, and Chanler Nicely, sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Lane and Shirley Warden, close nephew and niece, Donald and Carrie Mills, childhood friend, Mildred Adkins, and many other special nieces and nephews.

Sibble will be laid to rest during a private, family only ceremony.
