Sill V. Click went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was surrounded by his family. He was 76 years old.
He was born in 1947 to Trent and Brookie Click in Kentucky but raised in Ohio. There, he graduated from high school and was drafted into the US Army where he served in Vietnam as a printing press operator. After his service, he graduated from the Mayo Technical Institute with a diploma in TV Repair, which he did part-time while also working for the US Postal Service as a Maintenance Engineer and Custodian, where he retired after 38 years of service.
He was married to his high school sweetheart, Mildred Lynn, in 1976 and remained together for 47 years until the time of his passing. They attended the First Baptist Church in Moore. He was a fan of science fiction, an avid Star Trek watcher, and spent many hours participating in online Bible studies on America Online.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Lynn of Norman, his younger brother, Joseph, his younger sister, Clair, his eldest daughter, Dallie Tarena, his son, Jimmy Ray and his wife Terra, his youngest child, Jessica Lynn and her husband, David, his first grandson, Aarron and his wife Renae, his second grandson, Tristan, his first granddaughter, Brianna, his second granddaughter, Alissa, his first great-grandson, Jackson, his first great-granddaughter, Leela Rose, his second great-grandson, Romeo James and his second great- granddaughter, Iridessa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Trent Sr. and Brookie, and his younger brother, Trent Jr.
His funeral service will be held at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson at 2:30 pm. The service will be officiated by Chaplin Shawn Reidy of Good Shepherd Hospice.
