Steven Michael Dodson

On June 10, 2022, Steven Michael Dodson, Sr., "Steve", died in Shawnee, Oklahoma after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was 59 years old.

Steve was born on July 23, 1962, in Potosi, Missouri. He went to Bethel High School where he developed his love for playing baseball. Most of his teammates knew him as Dobbie.

Steve lived most of his life in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he enjoyed spending all his free time with his children and his grandchildren. During his early years in life, it was hard to get him off his motorcycles. In his later years he enjoyed his work with hobby lobby as a truck driver.

Steve is survived by his mom, Sue and dad, Gary of Bethel; his children, Steven, Jr. and favorite daughter-in-law, Karoline, Harley Cheyenne, and Emily Rose; grandchildren, Steven, III "Trey" and Alek for whom he loved to spoil with all the candy he could find, and his siblings, David, Beverly, Kimberly, and Tabitha of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, and his brother, Kevin.

A celebration of life for Steve will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee.
