Sue-Rita (Axtell) Clark, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Sue-Rita was born on February 14, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James and Rosmary Axtell.
A woman of strong faith, Sue-Rita’s heart was forever devoted to Jesus. Her love for Him was mirrored in her everyday life, which was characterized by her unwavering kindness and generosity. Sue-Rita had an innate ability to help others—she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Sue-Rita cherished her family deeply. She took immense pride in being a mother and grandmother, finding joy in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering support and love for them were evident in everything she did; she would go to great lengths for her family, often putting their needs ahead of her own. Her legacy is one of unconditional love and devotion, and she will be remembered for the countless memories shared with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Matthew Axtell, mother, Rosemary Axtell, and brother, Jim Axtell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roy Clark, daughter, Tiffany Goodwin-Isenhower and husband Bryan, daughter, Katrina Raines, son, Clint Cannon and wife Raechale, grandsons, Bric Webb, Jamie Webb, Gabriel Cannon, and Cannon Winsett, and granddaughters, Dinah Cannon and Evelynn Cannon.
