Thelma Mae Cox

Shawnee resident, Thelma Mae Cox, 91, died Tuesday, February 5th at her home. Thelma was born July 15,1927 in Bellflower, California, the daughter of Alva & Emily (Oxford) Buckley.  She graduated from Excelsior High School in Norwalk, CA.  On September 22, 1946 she married Ronald Cox in Bellflower, CA.  She enjoyed playing the piano and cooking.  She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship in Moore.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Randall Cox, two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by: daughter & son-in-law: Ronda & Tom Clark, daughter-in-law: Vicki Cox, grandchildren: Tammi and Steve Larkin, Kevin Cox, Jason & Lindsey Clark, Joshua & Kasey Clark, nine great grandchildren, brother J.C. Buckley, sister, Ruth Johnson.

A graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9 at Dale Cemetery with Josh Clark officiating.
