Timothy Michael Worlund, age 51, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away on July 17th, 2020 at a hospital in Tulsa. He was born in EI Paso, Texas on June 19th, 1969 to Robert Worlund and Susan Maxwell-Worlund.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and older brother John Worlund.
He is survived by his wife Sandi Sorter-Worlund and daughter Paige Worlund of Shawnee, son Wyatt Worlund, Carrie Swem, Nancy, Jason, Andre, Dakota, and Mercie of Henryetta, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Sheila Worlund of Shawnee, brother and sister-in-law Scott and Kristy Worlund of Blanchard, brother and sister-in-law Greg and Dena Worlund of Moore, nieces and nephews Ashley, Corey, and Oaklee Griffin of Harrah, Blake, Annie, and Brooks Worlund of Shawnee, Katie and Rylee Worlund of Blanchard, Sheldon and Vi Worlund of Moore, aunt Eileen Morrow of Spearman, Texas, and numerous other family members.
Tim graduated from Clinton High School in 1988 and married Sandi Sorter, also of Clinton, on August 5th, 1989 in Las Vegas. They lived in Clinton until 1991 before moving to Moore, Oklahoma. He and his brother Mark Worlund were partners/owners of a franchise of Mazzio's Pizza beginning March 1995 until January 2010. He and his wife Sandi were partners/owners of Okemah Mazzio's from 2010 to 2016. Tim, Sandi, and their two children Wyatt and Paige also lived in McLoud and Prague. Tim and Sandi celebrated life together for 30 years, settling in Shawnee for the last 3 years. He loved to be around his kids and grandchildren, playing golf, avid #48 Jimmie Johnson/NASCAR fan, watching OU football games, and spending time with his brothers and their families at get togethers. He loved to watch war movies and crime shows. His favorite sitcom was The Office. Tim also enjoyed playing pool and shooting darts. Tim was a loving son, husband, father, grandpa "Poppy", and brother who will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He will be forever in our hearts.
Services will be Monday, July 27th at Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee. It will be a private service for close family and friends. Burial will proceed afterwards at Fairview Cemetery.
