Tokee Richard

Former Shawnee resident Tokee Richard, 92, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in OKC.Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Tokee was born November 10, 1925 in Maud, Oklahoma to Noel Ben Hodges and Olline May (Holt) Hodges. He graduated from Maud High School. She married Lee R. Lacey. After his death she was later married Harry Richard. She worked for C.R. Anthony’s and in Real Estate for Bob Crothers. She was a member of Northridge Church of Christ and Pottawatomi Tribe. Tokee enjoyed family time and spoiling her grandchildren. They loved her very much. She was an avid shopper and loved dressing up the every occasion. She had a beautiful smile. She loved entertaining and having friends and family over. She will be missed by them all as she was the center they revolved around. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 2 sons: Denny and Ricky Lacey, 2 sisters: Nolene Hodges and Jan Rowe, and a grandson: Jonathan Ross.She is survived by 1 Son: Mike Lacey and wife Carolyn of Bella Vista, AR, 1 Daughter: Jan Tupps and husband Michael of OKC, 3 Grandchildren: Laurel and Sean McCullar, Chris and Gina Ross, Ryan and Jenn Tupps, Great-Grandchildren: Jake, Will, Sam, Lilah-Kate McCullar, Gage Ross, and Bryn and Jensen Tupps. And a step-son: Rick Richard and his family.
