Toni Lynne Eads

Toni Lynne Eads, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 in her home.   Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel.  Burial will follow in Little Cemetery.   Born in Purcell, Oklahoma, November 24, 1952 to Vernon and Pat Schneider. Toni was an excellent student and thoroughly enjoyed being a rainbow girl and a twirler at Purcell High School where she graduated.   She obtained her real estate license in 1979. Received her Bachelor of Home Economics degree in 1985 from Oklahoma State University and had hours towards her masters with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development.   In 1986, Toni took a position with Texas A&M in Bay City, Texas as the county extension agent. In 1988, she took the same position with Colorado State in Eagle, Colorado. She was also a business woman who enjoyed developing a Merle Norman Cosmetic store and sold real estate.   Toni is preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Pat Schneider of Purcell, son Justin Happy Eads of Shawnee, grandparents Roy and Evelyn Hammond, Andrew and Mina Schneider both of Purcell.    She is survived by husband Gene of Corpus Christi, daughter Shonna Lynne Slatten of Norman, two sisters Patti Schneider of OKC and Cheryl Tompkins of Ponca City, a brother Mike Schneider of Tulsa. Toni was like a grandmother to Shyanne and Sierra Jones. She also has one nephew Shawn Tompkins, two aunts Ruth Turner, Billie Carpenter, and numerous cousins.
