Vaughn Thomas Park

Vaughn Thomas Park, who everyone knew as Tom, passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 75 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born on April 20, 1948 to John and Helen (Hill) Park in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

He was a graduate of Meeker Public Schools.

After graduation Tom served his country with honor and dedication in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970, aboard the USS Cochrane.

He married Kathy Walker on June 18, 1970, where they built a beautiful life raising their two daughters in Meeker, Oklahoma.

Tom was a collector of all things old and historical. In addition to his hobbies, Tom had a notable career. He dedicated his professional life as the Director of Medical Missions for Feed the Children. Through his role, he made a significant impact on the lives of many.

Tom's legacy is carried on by his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Park, and his children Misty Mulkey, April Richardson and son-in-law Kio Richardson, as well as his twin brother Johnny Park and his wife Connie. Tom was also a proud grandfather to Jordyn and her fiance Joshua, Jasmyn, Christian, Caleb, Ava, Kai, Khamiyah, Jasper, and a grandpup, Rumble.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

He is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus.
