Virginia Mae Reynolds

Virginia Mae (McClure) Reynolds, 93, of Shawnee, died August 27, 2017. Virginia was born to Roy and Dessie (Foust) McClure on April 26, 1924, in Euchee Creek, Oklahoma. She married J. T. Reynolds on his birthday, June 18, 1941. Virginia had been a member of the Downtown Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 60 years and she loved Jesus.  In fact, the last words she spoke to her family were “Jesus is my life.” We knew that what she wanted more than anything was to meet Him face to face and we rejoice at her homegoing. Virginia loved her family. She has three brothers, Max, Jessie and Jack McClure; and many immediate family here in Shawnee, Oklahoma: a son, John Reynolds and his wife Pam, three grandchildren, Jason Reynolds and his wife April, Rachel Loudon and her husband Shane and Todd Reynolds.   She has two great-granddaughters; Tayler and Amanda Loudon. She enjoyed many good times spent with her special friend, Twilla Smith. She was preceded in death by an infant son, her husband and her brothers. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Praise Assembly Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma, with Larry Townsend & Ron Baldridge officiating. Interment will be at the New Johnsonville Cemetery in Byars, Oklahoma.
