Vickie Renee Wilson

Vickie Wilson, 62, of Shawnee, Oklahoma , passed away on June 3, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.

Vickie was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Kenneth Hoyt Slaten and Shirley Jean Hart Slaten on August 24, 1957. She grew up and went to school in Shawnee graduating in 1975. She was married to Harry “Bill” Wilson II on March 22, 1983. She obtained her CPA and owned her own business.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Yonus Slaten and a son Harry “Trey” Wilson III.

Vickie is survived by her husband Bill Wilson, 2 daughters Madeline Wilson (fiance' Jonathan Rebman), Alexandrea Martindale (husband Jeffrey Martindale), daughter-in-law Racheal Wilson, 2 sisters Zanne Winton, Pamela Slaten-Gresham (husband Keith Gresham), 3 grandchildren Harry & Korben Wilson, and Malcolm Martindale and many other relatives.

Vickie had a passion for spur of the moment traveling with a particular preference for Cozumel, Mexico. She loved spending summers on Lake Eufaula and was an avid gardener.

Funeral Services will be Monday June 8, 2020 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Shawnee with interment following at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery.
